This temple is dedicated to the worship of lord Shiva, the temple stands at top of Chandranath Hill. Lord shiva is also known as lord of moon, on a full moon night the shrine shines under the moonlight.

Shri Shantadurga temple, South Goa

The temple displays the architecture of Indo-Portuguese style, which is a 450 years old style. This temple is dedicated to the worship of Goddesses Durga, the five-storey tower adds to its attraction along with the roman arched windows.
