Ozran Beach Goa commonly known as the Little Vagator beach in Goa. 

It is an extension beach of the more famous beach the Vagator Beach.

One of the most picturesque beaches, a hotspot beach for foreign tourists has a perfect setting for on the rocks enjoyment.

The wonderful surroundings make the beach one of the main attractions, the hills, the rocks and the tourists of the Asians nationalities and Foreigners make this beach worth visiting.

The beach water is relatively shallow and the better thing is the sand is non-sticky. It’s non-sticky because the sand is non whitish and if you are planning to swim make arrangements to take a proper shower in the room.

If you are on this beach anytime look-out for the Lord Shiva face structure on the rock. 

It could be a carving made by the Hippies during the late ’70s.

 It is an eye-catching attraction located on the Southside of the beach.

How Do I Get to Ozran Beach Goa?

Locating this beach could be a little difficult therefore, use the Google Map.

The distance from Mapusa is about 11km via Chapora road and via the Duler-Maina-Siolim is 13 km.

If you are travelling from Panjim it’s 22 km approximately and considering the traffic it could take about 50 mins drive.

The Sunburn festivals were also held nearby this area hence consider the area as a landmark to remember.

The route to the beach is simply amazing and upon visiting you will realize how indifferent it is from the rest of the beaches of Goa.

Parking 

A considerable amount of free two and four wheeler parking area is available. One is free to park in the suitable area that is available.

 

Facts about the Ozran Beach Goa

Upon parking your vehicle move towards the west side, one needs to climb down the steps. Climbing up and down can be a little difficult for elderly people, especially heart affected ones.

The hills and the Coconut trees dotting the coastline makes this beach unique as compared to the other beaches in Goa. It is a gem that has been explored by a few tourists.

There are a few beach facing hotels and resorts constructed beautifully that gives a great view when one looks on top from the beach. Even more pleasant is the view after the sunset.

Is Ozran Beach Good?

This is also known as the Little Vagator, the beach is actually below the ground level hence it is not visible from the parking area.

Great place to be in there as the hotels/Resorts are located on the hilltop and are facing the beach therefore one can enjoy the view of the beach at night time from their hotel rooms by simultaneously listening to the gushing water waves.

Spend time with colourful lights in the shacks or candlelight dinner for honeymoon couples.

Ozran beach is awesome as tourists head for serenity and seclusion.

Do taste the Goan local cuisines as several restaurants serve them and not forgetting Goa’s top country made hot drink “Feni”

Conclusion

Swim only if it is a must because of the sharp and edgy rocks.

I did not see any Life Guards around there therefore, swim with care.

One can also walk along the beach to reach the more famous Vagator beach, together enjoying the Sunset whilst coming back.
