Zuri Beach Goa – Awesome white sand beach clean and calm specially meant for couples who like to be away from the mad rush.
When one prefers peace and privacy then Zuri beach is highly recommended. Certainly less crowded compared to Colva Beach as the beach is hardly known to many tourists and somewhat with the locals too.
The beach is mostly visited by the guests from the star resort “The Zuri White Sands, Resort and Casino”
As usual on every beach in Goa, you can find lifeguards constantly monitoring the area.
I noticed just a couple of shacks there the reason could be due to Covid or because of tourism restrictions presently in Goa.
Several weddings, events and other functions are held very often on the white sands by the guests from the ‘Zuri Beach Resort’.
The uniqueness of this beach is that one has to cross the beautiful wooden bridge flowing water underneath to have a view of the tranquil beach.
Location
Zuri beach is located in South Goa – Pedda Varca, very close to Benaulim beach. The distance from Margao is about 12km and from the Benaulim beach is 7km.
Our Lady of Gloria Church Varca is the main landmark to remember.
It’s a long stretch of well-known beaches that begin from Majorda beach – Betalbatim beach – Colva beach – Benaulim beach and then moving upwards to Cavelossim beach and to Mobor Beach.
Conclusion
Leave footprints on the beach, not garbage. Let the white sands shine like glitter in the ocean.
One is advised to wear sunglasses and sunscreen lotion or a hat to protect selves from the direct sun rays in the afternoons particularly.
Do enjoy and feel relaxed the nature’s therapy by dipping your feet in the soothing white sands and healing saltwater.
