North Goa or South Goa

The choice is yours as everything depends on an individual’s choices and travelling. Keep in mind the travelling distances to travel back home either by train or by flight.

Either way north or south, one can easily cover both the distances with few hick-ups here and there due to traffic congestion.

North Goa or South Goa – Compare

Night Life

Nightlife in Goa is more in the north as compared to the south due to the higher density of foreign tourists. North Goa is always full of happening.

The popular ones in North Goa are, Tito’s, Mambos, Sinq Night Club.

In south Goa to you can find night parties mainly at Palolem Beach at Freak at Neptune Point, Leopard Valley, Smuggler’s inn etc. Even then, I find south Goa to be more serene, calm in comparison.

Restaurants in North and South Goa

Restaurants are fewer in South Goa. The must visit restaurants are the Martins Corner at Betalbatim and Robin’s Ark at Cavellosim.

Shopping Malls

The best shopping malls one can find in North Goa such as Mall De Goa, Caculo Mall. South Goa is still lacking have one as big as the above. Still, one can visit comparatively lesser ones such as Big G Mall, Saga etc.

Hotels

Goa is a small state one can reach north to south Goa or vice versa in a few hours.

Best hotels or accommodation choices are subject to one’s budget. Hotels closer to beaches will always cost more.

A few visitors coming into Goa might think that during the off-season the hotel rates are less but not so because in the off-season Goa is fully crowded with local tourists.
